What began as a social media account in 2017 while on maternity leave has since developed into a community of over 189,000 mothers from all walks of life. Over the last four years, I have had the privilege of speaking with and meeting women from around the world. I have listened to their stories of motherhood and life, celebrated in their victories and career aspirations, and found strength in their personal growth. Not only as mothers, but women with a dedication to their goals and dreams - whatever those may be.

I have watched as we have advocated for one another, particularly in this last year. A community unwavering in its' support as we each decipher the next steps in our journeys, fight to pursue our ambitions and cheer for each other loudly along the way. As we've shared the sometimes painful, but often uplifting; truths, worries, triumphs, and struggles of our lives, we have become stronger versions of ourselves. And for that, I am forever in awe and continually grateful.

Starting this April, Working Momkind will launch 'Inspiring Momkind': a series giving a voice to mothers from all walks of life, normalizing the realities and challenges we all encounter, and sharing our stories in solidarity with one another. An extension of the stories I share on @workingmomkind, the series will dive deeper into what it means to 'mother loudly and unfiltered.' To open up about the realities of motherhood and the sense of community we all strive to find.

'Inspiring Momkind'
is a reminder that our stories deserve to be heard and that although it might feel like it, this path we are currently on isn't the road less traveled. Somewhere in this world, a mom has been in your shoes, and perhaps you have been in theirs.

I invite you to share your story and read the stories other moms share. Let's support, motivate, and inspire one another.

xx Ingrid
