“The postpartum journey begins faster than you realize. The most important part of this journey is knowing that you don't have to go through it alone and that having the support you need during one of the most challenging transitions in your life while learning to love the new you is essential.”
— Ingrid
Join our inaugural circle
We prepare to welcome our baby for countless hours- from hosting a baby shower and taking maternity photos to building the perfect nursery and having the baby’s first outfit ready. But we often forget to prepare for ourselves and the new person we will become.
This 8-week program is perfect for new moms navigating the start of their postpartum journey. All are welcome and we encourage moms who have given birth a few weeks before the start date to join.

Fill out the form below to receive detailed information in the next few weeks.

What we’ll cover:
While the program is broken down into 8 sessions and each week will have its own focus, we will let our current needs, questions, and concerns guide the conversation. Below is a breakdown of some of the areas we will be focusing on:
Introduction + learn more about Postpartum Doulas
Processing your birth + the sacred window
Bonding with your baby
Rest and recovery
Postpartum essentials, tools, and resources
Assembling your support circle
Finding wellness support (lactation specialists, sleep specialists, etc.)
Advocating for yourself
Me time + time with partner
Preparing to return to work/figuring out what’s next
Establishing a routine + schedule
Discovering and loving the new you
…and more!
When will the program begin?
We are aiming for a Fall start (late September/first week of October) to ensure everyone has enough time to adjust for at least 2 weeks after birth. We will be collecting due dates and will make a final decision based on that.
Meet Ingrid
Ingrid is a mom to an energetic toddler boy (+ another on the way), a career professional, a certified Postpartum Doula, and the founder of Working Momkind. Her passion for empowering moms came right after her son's birth when she realized the importance of community within motherhood and set off to build it. As the one-woman shop supporting over 218,000 working moms, Ingrid feels personally connected to each one's struggle and aspirations. When she's not helping build communities or watching her favorite shows, Ingrid loves exploring New York state parks with her husband and son.
What is a Postpartum Doula?
A Postpartum Doula helps support your transition from pregnancy to becoming a mother. Postpartum Doulas provide mothers with the proper support, encouragement, guidance, tools, and resources to ensure they adjust to this new life while still caring for themselves. While some Postpartum Doulas help mothers and families in person, I am taking a virtual community approach to maximize access to the support you need when you need it the most.
Please note: A Postpartum Doula cannot provide medical advice but will guide and encourage you to seek and reach out to the right practitioner.
